The Gates of Versailles

This was made in my 7th grade. That time, I was addicted to a manga (japanese comic) series called "The Rose of Versailles" or "Berusaiyu no Bara". The story is about Marie Antoinette's life. At one of the book's back cover is a photograph of this gates. So I decided to make a painting based on that picture. I wanted to make it in a - I don't know the correct term - 'european' style, you know, water color painting, with black outline made using ink pen, no ruler, a little bit...abstract? Well, you know what I mean....hopefully.. ^_^
